Whatever that is, it doesn't feel like making music to many of us. We think the best way to describe a piece of music is with another piece of music, so that's where we start. You bring in your own clips, use your ears, and shape the result with your hands on the controls.

CoordN8's technology was invented by Jay Hardesty, Jason Wilber, and Dražen Bošnjak, and grew out of Jay's published research into the structure of rhythm.
A musician with a background in mathematics, Jay spent years studying and researching the structure of anticipation and repetition in musical rhythms, culminating in "A Self-Similar Map of Rhythmic Components," published in the Journal of Mathematics and Music. In collaboration with co-founder and musician Jason Wilber, CoordN8 was founded to bring these theories to life.
