This Privacy Policy explains how CoordN8, Inc.("CoordN8", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you visit our website or take part in the CoordN8 early testing program (the "Service"). We have tried to keep it plain and honest.

1. Information we collect

We collect the following:

  • Information you give us. When you sign up to test, you provide details through our sign up form, such as your email address and, optionally, your name and answers about your setup and your experience with Ableton Live.
  • Feedback you share. Notes, messages, and reactions you send us during the program, which may include session feedback and correspondence.
  • Technical information. When you visit the website, our hosting provider may automatically log basic technical data such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you view, for security and to keep the site running.

2. Cookies and tracking

We keep this simple. The CoordN8 website does not set advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not use analytics or advertising tools. We do not build profiles of visitors and we do not sell data to anyone. The website loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google to fetch them, and it is served by a hosting provider that may keep short lived server logs for security.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • review sign ups and select and manage testers;
  • contact you about the program and schedule sessions;
  • understand your setup so we can send the right next step;
  • improve CoordN8 and our website based on feedback and usage;
  • keep the Service secure and comply with our legal obligations.

4. Legal bases for processing

If you are in a region with data protection laws such as the GDPR, we rely on your consent when you submit the sign up form, on our legitimate interests in running and improving the program and keeping it secure, and on compliance with legal obligations where they apply.

5. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the Service, such as our website hosting and infrastructure providers, and only as needed for them to provide their services. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, safety, or property. If our business is ever involved in a merger or acquisition, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

6. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as needed to run the program and for the purposes described in this policy, and then delete or anonymize it when it is no longer needed, unless we are required to keep it longer by law. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to correct or delete it, to object to or restrict how we use it, to withdraw consent, and to ask for a copy of it. If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what we collect, to request deletion, and not to be discriminated against for exercising your rights, and we do not sell your personal information. We take reasonable steps to protect your information. No method of storage or transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to keep your information safe.

9. International transfers

We and our service providers may process your information in countries other than where you live, including the United States. Where required, we take steps to make sure your information stays protected when it is transferred.

10. Children's privacy

The Service is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, please contact us so we can remove it.
